ZTE Power CPE Becomes the First Industrial Grade Product to Support 3GPP R16 Precision Timing Protocol

 　　Recently, the industrial-grade 5G power CPE MC3010 product launched by ZTE Corporation has completed accurate timing testing and verification under the existing network. The measured distribution network differential service has a null timing accuracy better than 1us, and the channel end-to-end average delay is less than 12ms, achieving 0 packet loss in long-time operation. The success of the test verification further highlights ZTE's leading commercial capability of 5G end-to-end solutions in the power industry. With industry-leading high-precision timing, ultra-low latency, and ultra-high reliability, it will further accelerate the process of commercializing 5G smart grid applications in China.

　　The power industry has high reliability requirements for the product, with more professional and diverse requirements for functions and interfaces, and the product must cope with harsh and complex industrial environments, requiring normal operation under extreme temperature, high humidity, and strong dust. The MC3010 is a new generation of industrial-grade 5G power CPE launched by ZTE for smart grid, which adopts industry-leading high-performance 32-bit processor and built-in self-developed 5G industrial module ZM9001 to support NSA/SA dual-mode 5G network. The MC3010 provides 2 Ethernet WAN/LAN interfaces and 2 RS232/RS485 interfaces, which can be connected to both serial and Ethernet devices to achieve transparent data transmission and routing functions. It adopts metal housing, IP65 protection level, and the working temperature is -40℃~70℃. At the same time, it supports 5G high-precision timing and typical power business applications such as distribution network PMU and differential protection, and its air port timing accuracy is better than 1us.
